Prof. Angela Wu to Give Talk on The Covid-19 Vaccines and the “New Normal” Webinar

Prof. Angela Wu was invited by the Academy President Prof. Vic Law from the Physics Department at HKUST to give a general audience talk about the different vaccine technologies for The Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences (香港青年科學院) on March 27, 2021.

The Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences, The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education and the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council jointly organized The Covid-19 Vaccines and the “New Normal” webinar for the general public to answer questions concerning the Covid-19 vaccines. Three experts in bioengineering and public health, including Prof. Leo Poon (HKU), Prof. Benjamin Cowling (HKU) and Prof. Angela Wu (HKUST) shared their views on the development, vaccination and efficacy of the new Covid-19 vaccine. The seminar was hosted by Prof. Anderson Shum (HKU), a founding member of the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences.
