LIFS Community Circle Kick-off Gathering — Event Highlights

The Class Ambassador Program — the pilot initiative for the LIFS Community Circle co-organized by the Development and Alumni Office (DAO) and the Division of Life Science (LIFS)— was successfully launched on 18 June at the Alumni Commons.

The kick-off gathering brought together LIFS faculty members, alumni, students, and DAO colleagues. Our first cohort of Class Ambassadors had the opportunity to learn more about the program’s objectives, their role in strengthening student–University engagement, and to share ideas for future LIFS Community Circle activities.

A small but meaningful start, with great potential ahead.

Our sincere thanks to the pilot Class Ambassadors, the Division of Life Science, and in particular Prof. Ice Ko for their support in bringing everyone together and making this launch possible. This marks the beginning of a brand-new initiative for HKUST.
