Congratulations to five awardees for the Academic Achievement Medal 2021

Congratulations to the following students who have received the Academic Achievement Medal 2021 – the highest academic honor bestowed by HKUST on outstanding undergraduate students upon graduation.

  • WONG, Yew Kit Daniel – BSc(BCB): 4Y
  • LAM, Ka Chung – BSc(BCB-IRE): 4Y
  • CHEUNG, Chun Wai – BSc(BCB-IRE): 4Y
  • FUNG, Lok Yee Natalie – BSc(BCB): 4Y
  • SHEKARRIZ, Erfan – BSc(BCB): 4Y

The Medal will be presented at the University Congregation, taking place in late Nov to early Dec 2021 at the Shaw Auditorium. The Congregation will be live-streamed to support those graduates and guests who cannot participate in person due to travel restrictions.The Academic Achievement Medal was established in 1994 to recognize graduates whose outstanding academic achievements bring honor and distinction to themselves and the University. To qualify for the Medal, the graduate must achieve an average of A in all courses taken throughout the program of study, with no record of a failed course. Only the top 2-3% of graduates are awarded the Medal each year.
