HKUST has organized a large-scale alumni event, namely the alumni reunion day, on November 24, 2018. With the help from the Life Science Alumni Association, LIFS has organized the “Discovering Algae under a microscope” workshop on that day for children and adults to observe special algal cells under the microscope and how these cells behave under a light source. We saw some familiar faces of our alumni and their children during the workshop.
