The Division of Life Science (LIFS) offers research graduate programs leading to the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Life Science, with or without a concentration in molecular medicine or scientific computation as well as the taught graduate program leading to the Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology and Master of Science (MSc) in Drug Regulatory Affairs and Policy (DRAP).
In addition, we also offer the Sussex-HKUST PhD Dual-degree Program with the University of Sussex, a joint MD/PhD program with Peking University and Xiangya Medical School of Central South University and the interdisciplinary MPhil and PhD programs in Nano Science and Technology.
Currently, we have over 200 research postgraduate students, with more than 150 of whom are PhD students.
