We are seeking several energetic and organized applicants to fill the Junior Research Assistant positions.

The appointees will provide invaluable research support in the area of population-based genetics and the development of novel diagnostics and therapeutics for aging.

The appointees will assist in research investigating the basic biology of skeletal muscle regeneration, conducting research and performing general laboratory duties as assigned by the team leader. Main duties will involve animal behavioral testing, animal husbandry and surgery, on in-house mouse colony.

Applicants should have an associate degree in science or related disciplines, with good organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to details. Relevant work experience in biochemistry laboratory, knowledge of laboratory animal husbandry and adult stem cell biology will be an asset. Animal handling training will be provided if required.
